I had a dream last night that i got a job as a child care teacher. Cool huh? Maybe what sis said is right. That this job really suits me. After this trip, really have to start on my job hunting. And my losing weight routine. Yeah right aisyah. Here in Sarawak, as expected, is very humid and hot. But at some times, its quite redup too. The place is very much like Malaysia. On the first day, we took a flight here. It was mum's first experience on a flight and i tell you, i have never seen here this excited! 15 minutes in the plane and i was already settled down with my mp3, she is still taking pictures. I feel happy to see her happy. But i realised i really hate flying. It was a torturous 1 hour ride. I keep fighting back the vomit and my head was spinning. I just love roaming around the streets of a foreign country alone. Gives you this sense of freedom, eventhough the streets is very much like the street back at kampong. We took a small sampan ride to get across a river bank which was only a 3 minutes ride. It was all wobbly and so near to the water. I felt like boat was gonna capsize any time soon. Aniq was screaming all the way, and i couldnt coax him as i was already having the cold sweats. On the good side, we visited a couple of historic museums which was interesting and eerie at the same time. I saw a Killer Whale fully attached skeleton. And it freaked the hell out of me. Idk why, but i had always been scared of whale especially those big ones. K all whales are big. Especially those GINORMOUS ones. When i saw one on tv like the one in Free Willy, i get freaked. In my mind, fish is suppose to be small. So when if i saw fishes that are bigger than human size, it is like seeing a dinosaur. Okay i know this is crap. Where was i? Museums. So, we also visited a art museum which i totally like! Especially the contemporary art exhibitions. Food wise, it has been great so far, Most of the food i had was really nice. For this trip, i had vowed that i would eat the country's specialty food. I realised that the food here taste sweet for almost everything. Soups, rice, dishes, they like to put sugar which makes the food salty and sweet at the same time. Interesting. But some does'nt work at all. On that note, gonna go eat now! PEACE. 3:04 PM
